I Am That
Welcome
'One, One, One'
The lamps are different,
but the Light is the same.
So many garish lamps in the dying brain's lamp-shop,
Forget about them.
Concentrate on essence, concentrate on Light.
In lucid bliss, calmly smoking off its own holy fire,
The Light streams towards you from all things,
All people, all possible permutation of good, evil, thought, passion.
The lamps are different,
But the Light is the same.
One matter, one energy, one Light, one Light-mind,
Endlessly emanating all things
One turning and burning diamond,
One, one, one.
Ground yourself, strip yourself down,
To blind loving silence.
Stay there, until you see
You are gazing at the Light
With its own ageless eyes.

The word "personality" has come up a few times lately, and I am wondering what exactly I mean when I talk about personality.
It isn't the thought-identified persona. It is more of an energy field that a person or animal is born with. Some people are just naturally energetic and outgoing. While others are quieter and more introspective.
Just curious what others here mean when they speak of personality. Light Mystic mentioned that after awakening the personality is freer to expres...
Enjoy reading your posts. Really nothing to add here except to know we are really not here. Its the illusion of who we think, feel, and act that creates a object called human beings. The reason why some questions can never be answered is because you are getting very close to the truth and in the truth of all there are no questions and the result is there are no answers.
The questions such as who we are, where do we come from, what is our purpose in life and so on are questions ask by the illu...

In terms of individual vs. universal perception, there was a fundamental shift where universal perception become primary. Since then the universal and individual have sort of been recognized to be the same thing. All aspects of life are that same universal Awareness, and that seems to be getting more and more full.
It can sound a bit paradoxical, so I'll stop there, but if you want to poke my experience I can look into it. I like doing that because I always get more out of it when I do that.....
Buddhi is like intellect, or attention.
It's like our tool for inquiry.
This Buddhi can turn in & out, focus on objects or the Self, it can reveal increcible insights into the nature of things, but it is still not Self.
That which inquires & discerns discernable quality, itself has discernable quality, any discernbale quality can not be the Self, even that which detects phenomena as not Self, is not Self!
Empty the Self completely;
Embrace perfect peace.
The World will rise and move;
Watch it return to rest.
All the flourishing things
Will return to their source.
This return is peaceful;
It is the way of Nature,
An eternal decay and renewal.
Understanding this brings enlightenment,
Ignorance of this brings misery.
Who understands Nature's way becomes all-cherishing;
Being all-cherishing he becomes impartial;
Being impartial he becomes magnanimous;
Being magnanimous he becomes part o...
